2018 marked the 12th year of the Burners Without Borders Camp! Just as we’ve seen Black Rock City scale and grow– so has the camp– not just scaling our size in numbers and infrastructure, but also in our programming and impact.
Here’s a quick run down of some of the things that happened:
110 Camp Members coming from 9 different countries
4 days of Speaker Series
5 days of Maker Workshops and Cultural Series
We hosted 5 stand-alone art projects
Hundreds of Screen Prints
Over 150+ guests at our Honoring Community Leaders Dinner
2 mini-effigy burns
TONS of connection, fun, and shenanigans
We also hosted Fly Ranch which hosted 3 conversations at camp as well as gifted trips to see the hot springs.
