Burners Without Borders-BRC 2017 Welcomes you Home!

It is time for our yearly migration back to the desert.  Like a circadian rhythm we head into that yet unknown space waiting to be created.

We are called to participate in the dance that is Burning Man. This collective gathering offers us a unique opportunity to come together and share in what makes us great as individuals and as a collective community.  This year Burners Without Borders aims to invoke the story of our collective cycles, and delve deeper into the process of building and regenerating communities.  

We call in all Speaker, Performers, Water Protectors, Story Tellers, Medicine and Wisdom keepers, Musicians, Agents of Change, Do-gooders, Humanitarians, and those working within our various communities to join us in our programming this year!  Do you have something you want to share with the wider community?

How can you participate?

SPEAKERS SERIES AND FIRESIDE CHATS:
Our three day speaker series will have a different theme each day following Our Collective Hero’s Journey:
The Call to Adventure (Research/Play)
The Breakthrough (Iteration/Prototyping)
Bringing it Back Home (Implementation/Ritual)
We ask that your presentation range from 15-30 minutes. We also invite workshops, facilitated breakouts, and motivate you to get creative in your format!

MUSICIAN & PERFORMERS:
Each evening we’ll be highlighting musicians and performers. Come use our Esplanade stage! We hold a special space for live & world musicians- but are interested in whatever you have to offer. We also invite people walking the Medicine Path to consider joining us and sharing in your songs of healing.  There are also select daytime spots throughout the Speaker Series.

MAKER SPACE WORKSHOPS:
This will be our second year of hosting our Mobile Maker Space!  We invite Makers and Creators to host workshops in the space throughout the week.  Last year workshops included: Spot Welding, Electronics Repair, Knot-Tying, CNC Design and more!

MOVEMENT/YOGA/SELF-CARE WORKSHOPS:
Each morning we like to open our space with movement, yoga and self-care.  Let us know what you’d like to teach!

VECTOR ARTISTS: 
Our Screen Printing project gifts prints and designs throughout the week to paritipants.  We’re always looking for fresh designs to add to the mix.  Want to submit a vector design?
