When BWB volunteers returned to Burning Man post Katrina, we had gifted over $1 million dollars of debris removal and reconstruction work to the Gulf Coast. We wanted to bring the valuable lessons we learned back to the playa and so began BWB's first ever lumber recycling program. Since that time, we have repurposed over 60 truck loads of lumber and we are doing it again this year.

Got Wood?

BWB will be accepting your construction grade lumber with all of the nails and screws pulled out.

We accept

-Full Sheets of Plywood

-Lumber measuring at least 8ft

Wood Donation Locations

Sunday after the Man burns, you can take your lumber to wood collecting stations near the Esplanade at 3:00, 6:00, and 9:00.
